Join the growing number of Tampa Bay Area people who are activating their imaginations with our unique painting parties! The explosion in popularity of the “paint n’ sip” establishments across the country is a wonderful indicator that everyday people are tapping into the happiness and joy that come from painting. As great as these paint n’ sips stores are, none of them offer an abstract painting experience.
We offer an instructed (but not restricted) guided journey in which each
participant creates a one-of-a-kind original abstract painting, emphasizing the individual’s choice of color and form to express and activate what is yearning to pour forth from his/her heart. We find it’s a most refreshing and joyful experience!
We can provide the theme or work with you to choose the perfect theme for your party. We come to you!
The parties are 2 hours long, with options to extend if arranged in advance. We provide all the materials necessary so you and your party can focus on the fun of creating your masterpiece!
Great for all ages and occasions!
We ask that a minimum of 4 maximum 10 participants for each party. $40/person
All materials are provided and included in price of the party.
All you need to bring is your imagination!

On Saturday, January 14, 2017 “Wolves Have No Kings” opened at Bar@548 (548 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL). Wolves is an all-women group exhibition displaying over 40 works from artists who reside in the Tampa Bay Area. “Flight of the Lotus,” one of Nicki’s favorite pieces of 2015 is on display and will be up until February 9th.
If you’re in the St. Pete area, please check out the show! Bar@548 has pool table, patio seating and a great vibe! “Flight of the Lotus” (pictured below) is available for purchase as well! 😉
Thank you and have an art-filled day!
Seven of Nicki’s latest paintings are currently on display in the Morean Arts Center’s group exhibition, “There’s No Time Like the Presents.” The exhibit features several local artists, with the art displayed in a retail store fashion (without title-tags for each piece).
Thankfully, anyone familiar with Nicki’s work will be able to spot her pieces, three of which hang near the window facing Central Avenue (see photos).
This is Nicki’s first group show in Florida, having participated in 5 group shows from 2009-2013 while living in Los Angeles. She is grateful to have the opportunity to show her works in her hometown of St. Petersburg!
Nicki’s abstract hidden imagery-laden paintings are now available as Phone cases, Earth-friendly shopping totes, all-over-print tees, pillows, duvet covers and even shower curtains! Click the image slider below to see the full gallery of options. We think they make great gifts. 😉
Activate “Anywalls” with abstract stimulation! The walls of waiting rooms. Office lobbies. Doctor’s offices. Children’s hospitals. Children’s rooms / play rooms. Hotel lobbies. Pre-K through High schools. “ANYWALLS” are walls in any space that yearn for attention – they are usually devoid of stimulating imagery. Why not stimulate the human imagination by adding an abstract painting packed with hidden imagery. Finding all the creatures is a game unto itself.
Imagine spending an hour or more in a waiting room with your child awaiting medical attention. As you stare at the wall, all you see is a faded print of an old clay vase which even in its prime didn’t stimulate or distract you from the fact that you were in a waiting room. In fact, it only added visual insult to injury.
What if, instead you could gaze upon a painting that actually stimulated your senses? Well, it’s a dream of mine to get my artwork up on these otherwise bland ‘Anywalls.’ Please message me if you have any ideas or feel inspired to help make this happen!
I’ll be at Vagabond Gita market tonight! Billed as the “Crowd Captivator,” as I’ll be painting – live! I’m honored to be a part of this awesome community event and of course to be doing what I love-painting!! Come check it out!
Delighting Hearts Success! Saturday Feb 13 Opening Reception
Paintings sold = 4! Fun had = Lots! LOL
It’s always heartwarming to see anyone enjoying art – but ever delightful to have occasion to gather friends and loved ones together. Last Saturday over 100 people stopped by the Creative Soul Studio Cafe in St. Petersburg, FL. My hometown! I was so happy to see everyone having a good time. Old friends mixed with new, and made new friends too! Afterwards, my friend Jeremy Davis posted this on his Facebook wall. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect review!
“I had a great time at your show tonight, Nicki La Rosa. Your art was fantastic, the atmosphere was very positive, and I made a few new friends. Good times. (heart emoticon)”
